Ten draws: Blackburn v West Brom, Norwich v Hull, Sunderland v Ipswich, Cambridge v Oxford, Carlisle v Fleetwood, Northampton v Stevenage, Forest Green v Salford, Tranmere v Barrow, Dunfermline v Airdrieonians, Montrose v Kelty Hearts.
Best draws: Blackburn v West Brom, Sunderland v Ipswich, Carlisle v Fleetwood, Northampton v Stevenage, Tranmere v Barrow.
Weekend's best bets: Six aways: Peterborough, Swindon, Bradford City, Mansfield, Notts County, Rangers.
Weekend's best bets: Ten homes: Leeds, Middlesbrough, Blackpool, Bolton, Portsmouth, Morecambe, Wrexham, Falkirk, Chesterfield, Rochdale.
Pick of the draws: West Brom were disappointed to have finished as low as ninth in last season's Championship. They expect to do better this campaign and I expect them to get a point at Blackburn. Ipswich were so impressive on gaining promotion from League One that I believe the feel-good factor will carry over into Sunday's match at Sunderland, who lost their play-off semi-final against Luton. Carlisle's promotion from League Two was unexpected but deserved and I think they'll share the spoils with Fleetwood, who ended League One in mid-table. Northampton v Stevenage is perhaps the most likely stalemate. There was little to separate them when they were both promoted to League One and I can't predict a winner this weekend. Barrow, who were a creditable ninth in League Two, are capable of leaving Tranmere with a point.
Away days: Peterborough are still smarting from last season's League One play-off semi-final collapse and I feel they may take it out on Reading, who were one of the three relegated clubs from the Championship. My next four selections are all from League Two. Swindon will be hoping for more consistency this time around and are worth backing at Colchester. Bradford City are the nearest thing to an away banker at Crawley, who just escaped relegation, and Mansfield, who just missed out on the play-offs, will fancy their chances at Crewe, who have lost Dan Agyei, their leading scorer, to Leyton Orient. The firepower of promoted Notts County should prove too much for Sutton, who ended last season on a downer. Rangers will be confident of getting their Scottish Premiership campaign off to a flyer at Kilmarnock.
Homes sweet homes: Relegated Leeds have a very winnable Championship opener against Cardiff on Sunday. Middlesbrough will want to put last season's play-off disappointment behind them and I'm backing them to do that when they host Millwall on Saturday. No team are on more of a high than Wrexham, whose haul of 111 points gained them automatic promotion to League Two. They are definitely worth a punt against Milton Keynes Dons, who were relegated last season.
